This forum has a very powerful system of sending e-mail alerts, so that you can tailor the frequency of e-mails and also choose which content you will receive e-mail alerts for.
To configure e-mail alerts:
After logging in, go to the My account link in the menu on the left, this will take you to your account summary page. Click on the Notifications tab at the top.
Alternatively you can use the "Manage my subscriptions" link at the bottom of every e-mail alert we send you.
The Notifications overview page gives you a summary of your notifications.

Go to the Content type link, this is where you go to set the frequency of your e-mail alerts unless you wish to fine-tune them. Select a frequency of e-mails from the drop-down menu, we recommend Daily but you can choose whatever you like.

Click on Save to save your preferences.
If you aren't currently receiving any e-mail alerts then go to the My Account page and then go Content type and choose Forum Topic. Set the desired frequency of alerts in the Send interval drop-down menu. This will send you an e-mail summary of new topics and comments.
If you have any problems or queries then please contact admin.
Yes, we have now implemented a plain text feature for mails, to enable it go to your account (http://portal.campaigncc.org/user), go to the Edit tab, scroll down to Messaging and Notifications settings and change the Default send method to Plain text.
I have changed your account, so you don't need to do it. Admittedly we haven't tested this feature so drop us a line if there are any problems.
Most emails sent these days are formatted in HTML. If you look in the email header of the message that has been rejected by the spam filter, you might find the points given to different characteristics of the mail and that should explain why the message is considered spam. (Also not sure that the templates for plain text messages are set up properly).
Is there a way to turn off the HTML and get email as plain old email? My email is filtered at my ISP for spam and malware, and all HTML is automatically suspect. I have to take extra steps to open HTML mail each time it arrives.
