The Hadley Centre for Monitoring posts the mean Central England Temperature data practically every day.

I have just checked the graph and the CET data up to 10th May 2008 shows that England is hotter than ever before in the history of the records :-

The change in temperatures has shown a consistent upward trend (with variations), but it's never spiked like this before.

Please tell everyone you know :-

Ooh ! it's getting hot in here.
Too much Carbon in the atmosphere.

For anyone who doubts what is happening, point them to the data.

Be prepared for emotional fallout as realisation settles in.
